Mission Smorgasbord

Missions Undertaken:

Here it was a new day and that meant a new patch of missions to complete. Shin was busy doing his typical morning routine of finishing chores, his training regime and cleaning up before he left. He had been informed last night when a scroll was delivered to him that he had been chosen for a handful of missions to be completed with another group which they would all meet up in the town center. The scroll that had been delivered had all the details for the missions that they would be undertaking for the day and they were a bit more serious then the missions he had undertaken in the face.
 
This time they were being assigned to transport the body of a deceased Shinobi back to the village and go through the appropriate processes that entailed like keeping people away from the body so it can be examined and organs harvested for future use as needed. Then they would need to safeguard a stand in clone for the family so they can get closure of seeing their deceased love one before it was “buried.” This type of mission was new for Shin as he hadn’t had to interact with the dead in a mission environment but he would do it to the best of his ability to safeguard the body in transport as that was the least he could do for someone who fell in combat.
 
The next mission was added onto the first as with the transport of the body they would also be escorting a famous Architect by the name of Jamil Proctor who needed some extra hands for his security detail as he makes his way to the village for some project he would be working on here. The notes told that this person had a big mouth and tended to cause trouble wherever they went so that would be quite annoying in the long run but if they can keep the pace moving and avoid stopping anywhere Shin might be able to avoid having to deal with that problem.
 
The last mission on the scroll simply talked about removing a tree that was growing out of control and to keep any damages to the area to a minimum which would be the easier of all three as there were plenty of tools to use for tree removal so Shin overall wasn’t to worried about having to get that mission taken care of. Once he had thoroughly read through the scroll and was ready for the day spent out of the area Shin made his way to the gathering point to await anyone that was apart of the team.

Kaiya would wake up and decide to make breakfast for the day. She would look around and see eggs and some veggies so she would make herself an omelet. After eating she would receive a know on the door and get a note from the commander about her missions for the day.  She would open it and see list that looked like it might have been a mile long. She knew it would be a long day and would be a stressful day.  She saw she was working with Shin again and would make lunch for them nothing too fancy, just a simple sandwich and she would pack a lot of water for the day.  She would then head out to meet up with her teammate.

SHe would read more about her missions seeing that they were to be escorting and delivering the worse news the family of a shinobi could ever recieve. They were delivering a fallen brother or sister which sounds like the hardest job out of the three of the ones they were given to do.  She was really not looking forward to that job.  

Then a famous architech was coming to build a building in the village. His name was Jamil Proctor. He is a bit of a celebrity so make sure no one gets hurts or bothers the celebrity while he looks at the place where the building will be. Last was a tree that seems to be growing out of control so we are to be trimming it back or getting rid of it.

She would finally arrive to the meeting place “Hello, young Shin. i will be helping you out today.  I pack an extra sandwich for later if you want it and i have plenty of water if you need some. How have you been? Do you know where we are to pick up our fallen brother shinobi?”

Shin watched as a familiar face came walking to the meeting place and he wasn’t to surprised to see tha Kaiya would be the one that would be teamed up with him once again. They were similar ranking though the raven haired woman was a few years older then Shin himself as evident by how she called him “young shin” even though he towered over her. There was always someone who just knew how young he was despite his body being so large, some kind of sixth sense or maybe it was simply cause Shin didn’t really give off that mature aura. That was fine to the young Uchiha he was sure as time went on he would develop as needed in that department, he was still working on gathering the needed strength to rise through his own clan.

“Hello Kaiya, it looks like we will be teaming up once more.” Shin greeted the woman with a smile an almost natural fixture on the young shinobi’s face. “I believe we will be meeting up at the morgue to transport our fallen comrade and then move him to the appointed destination which I’m pretty sure that will be around where we will pick up our famous architect.” Shin explained as he tried to remember what exactly the scroll had said about each mission. “I don’t think this will be to difficult of missions for us to do beyond the escorting of our VIP individual apparently he likes to cause trouble wherever he goes due to the fame going to his head.” Shin said with a sigh as they already had to deal with the grieving family and process of handling the dead dealing with an arrogant and obnoxious person will be mentally draining in the long run. Though once they finish those two missions they still had to deal with a tree that needed trimmed or removed whichever worked best so at least the end of the day should be a simple gardening task.

“Well we won’t get this on the way if we just stand around here.” Shin offered as he began to lead the way to the morgue so they could get the needed information and the body. “I appreciate the offer and will definitely take you up on it once we take care of our comrade.” He said in response to Kaiya offering a sandwich and some water to eat at some point during their outing. “Got to keep this body nice and full.” Shin joked to the older Shinobi. It didn’t take long for them to arrive at the morgue where Shin produced the scroll concerning the missions and presenting it to the assistant that worked there who would then lead them into the back to the head worker there.

“Ah I see you are the ones who will be transporting the body home.” The Doctor said as he produced some paperwork from where they would be picking the body up from. “This place isn’t far from here just on the outskirts. Bring the body back here and we will do what we need to. Once you drop the body off here that is when you will need to inform the family of the loss and take care of process of guarding the burial.” He explained looking at the two shinobi in front of him. “I understand you will be escorting a VIP while doing this on the way back. The successful escort of both of them is important to the mission.” The doctor said with a stern voice after giving the team in front of him the paperwork they would need to pick up the body.

Shin nodded his head solemnly as he understood that they needed to take this serious as this was someone that had given their life for the village. As the left the building with the needed paperwork Shin turned to Kaiya, “How would you like to do this? Would you like to be in charge of the providing the close range security or deal with scouting ahead of the transport? Or would you like to simply have both of us near the body and VIP and whatever escorts he brings with him once we pick them up?” Shin asked curious on how the older woman would want to set up the security and escort teams, while he was sure they would be able to handle any issues between the both of them having an idea on how they want to move while handling these missions would be smart.

Kaiya would walk up to the to Shin saying “it’s a pleasure to work with you again. That works for me let’s head towards the morgue. I am sure the mortician will have more answers for us. It is always said when we lose a fellow shinobi no matter the reason. Do we need to be in full uniform or anything ceremonial for this or are we just taking the body back to his family?” She would ask with sincerity. Then Shin would talk about the VIP. “Do we know anything about this architect? I do not think I even know what he looks like do you? I guess we can always follow the crowds.” She was not looking forward to breaking the news to the family but she knew it was something they had to do. “Ok I did not mean now I meant for lunch obviously maybe before we start guarding the vip”.

We would show up to the morgue to pick up our fellow shinobi. Shin would go talk to the mortician and come back asking about a plan. “I can of coarse provide close combat support. Hopefully we won’t need to but you never know.”
